We are looking for an outgoing, driven individual to lead our Field Sales Team. This candidate is a high-performing individual who is a self-starter and excels at building markets, relationships and teams.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and grow the field sales team in Dallas, TX
- Help your team grow new business in their territory
- 1:1 coaching to support team traveling business-to-business to introduce Podium’s service
- Achieve and exceed team monthly and quarterly quotas
- Build new territories
- Hire and scale your team
- Lead with radical candor and are willing to have tough conversations
What you should have:
- 2+ years managing Account Executives / Closers in a Field / Outside Sales environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for modernizing the way business happens locally and empowering SMBs
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and operate independently
- Must have the energy and initiative to recognize tasks that need to be accomplished and to take action to fill gaps where necessary
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and virtual environment, with stakeholders ranging from corporate level to front-line employees
- Highly organized and strong time management skills
- Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with minimal direction
- Self driven, motivated and results oriented
- Ability to use data to communicate and manage team performance
What we hope you have:
- 5+ years B2B software sales experience
- Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
- Consistent over-achievement in past and current positions
- Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills
- Experience with both New Logo and Expansion sales
- Passion for building playbooks to fuel a hypergrowth Sales Motion; Field Sales will be a critical investment and growth opportunity for Podium moving forward
