FIELD SALES ENGINEER (FSE) – Scandinavia

Now we have an exciting new opportunity for a Field Sales Engineer (FSE). This home based position will ideally be centrally located in order to cover the territory either South of Sweden (Malmo) and Denmark. Regular travel will be required, including visits to the regional office in the Stockholm area of Sweden.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Grow sales and customer base in the territory.

Use technical expertise to conduct sales calls and drive technical discussions (i.e., manage the design-in process, from start to finish).

Lead product presentations, web-based seminars and attend trade shows.

Manage projects from initial customer lead through to mass production (and beyond!).

Liaise with all types of customers (OEM, ODM, EMS and DIST) and departments (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Production, etc).

Work autonomously to identify and develop the customer base and project opportunities.

Cooperate with our support functions around the world.

Register and follow-up sales leads, projects, and customer visits.

Work with CRM systems like Salesforce.

Regular reporting of sales activities to management.
Education & Experience

Degree in electrical engineering (or similar), business administration or equivalent related technical experience.

Demonstrate a track record of working in a comparable sales orientated role, ideally technically oriented sales function, would be a distinct advantage

Background in component sales, ideally with both a technical and a commercial focus

Knowledge of electromechanics and/or semiconductors is a plus but not required; detailed product training will be provided.

A genuine interest in technology and electronics.

Fluency in English and one other Scandinavian language (Swedish / Danish) is essential.

Strong relationship building, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Self-motivation is essential as this person will be working from a home-based office.

Travel throughout the area will be required approximately 3 days per week.

A current and valid driving licence.

Being located within or close to the area of the main customer base.
