Reporting to the Sr. Director Client Success, responsibilities of the Field Performance Manager, Central Region (Automotive SaaS) include developing close relationships with your portfolio of assigned dealership clients, connecting with key decision makers, and maximizing the potential of each account. This proactive, consultative position will recommend additional products that meet client needs.  Position requires 80% travel.

Target hiring location/territory: Detroit / Columbus

Responsibilities:

  • As lead point of contact, drive Affinitiv and Dealer initiatives to drive engagement and growth within existing assigned book of business.
  • Responsible for day-to-day dealer relationship management and championing the adoption and ongoing use of the company product in the dealerships.
  • Bring best practice knowledge of the product into the client organization to support the company’s value proposition to its dealerships and to teammates on the team.
  • Ensure that product changes, new features, and releases are communicated and implemented in a timely manner to their accounts.
  • Identify opportunities at the dealer and or weak areas that we can help them with by understanding the dealer’s pain points and being able to work through a solution as a consultant for their dealership.
  • Building strong relationships with the management at the dealership and continuing to grow the relationship beyond the one franchise into a group if they have multiple locations.
  • Continually learning and staying ahead of the market and industry to communicate updates to our product teams and mitigate churn.
  • Staying ahead of NPS and other detractions across their portfolio to prevent potential cancellations before they occur.
  • Negotiate effectively, finding a win-win solution to problems.
  • Proactively solicit feedback, ask clarifying questions, and resolve issues in a consultative manner.

Requirements

  • 5-year experience in Automotive SaaS
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of automotive software platform functionality, related services, and an overview of the technical functionality. Leverage this knowledge to strategically implement processes and work with executive management, floor management, and other various departments within the dealership on appropriate usage.
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience in automotive retail
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including owner, executive and GM level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable safe transportation in accordance with all state laws
  • Must have valid DL, ability to rent a car, ability to take domestic flights
  • Ability to incur and document travel related expenses to be reimbursed
  • Must be organized and task oriented
  • Must be able to visit clients in store each day of the week Monday thru Friday in accordance with Field Client Consultant and client requirements.
  • Position requires 80% travel.
