Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Engineer to join our Cyber Mission team.  As a Field Operations Engineer, you will be the primary contact for our customers, enhancing relationships by resolving a variety of issues. This role requires a deep understanding of the Cyber Mission Force organizational structure, the tools/capabilities used in cyber operations, and experience in system/network administration, incident response, and forensic analysis. You will work on diverse projects and technical challenges,  both independently and as part of a team.

The work requires an Active Top Secret Clearance.  In addition, the selected candidate will be willing to work up to 4 days/week in our Colorado Springs office. 

What you will do: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for government and military customers in addressing and resolving technical issues to improve customer relationships. 
  • Utilize expertise in system and network administration, incident response, and forensic analysis to support cyber operations. 
  • Provide onsite installation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of Two Six cyber solution products.
  • Provide customer support as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of systems. 
  • Participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics
  • Brief and demonstrate company projects to a variety of customers (government and non-government agencies). 

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.  In lieu of education, comparable work experience will be considered. 
  • 2+ years’ experience installing, configuring, and deploying infrastructure systems required to support an operational environment.
  • Previous experience with CNE, CNO, Forensic Analysis
  • Possess strong project management skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI Eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain polygraph
  • Ability and willingness to travel greater than 30% locally and nationally 

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience with CNE, CNO, Forensic Analysis
  • Experience with DevOps and/or Agile is a huge plus; Atlassian collaboration tools
  • Excellent relationship-building skills while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Self-starter, willing to take the initiative
  • SQL 
  • SQLBasic Linux skills
  • Can ssh into another system (secure shell) 
  • AWS /Docker /Kubernetes / IKE knowledge
  • Operational experience with specific customers
