We’re looking for a talented, energetic Field Marketing all-star to join our growing team. Evolv is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to help prepare and execute our strategic field event programs to generate more pipeline. This position will assist with daily support tasks and help the team improve its processes over time. The ideal candidate will be naturally inquisitive, eager to collaborate and learn from others cross-functionally, with a flair for keeping organized. Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? 

In the first 30 days, you will: 

  • Participate in EvolvED, our new hire orientation program  
  • Get familiar with Evolv Express via case studies & industry-focused product content  
  • Understand why each customer, by vertical, likes Evolv & which key features matter most per group 
  • Learn internal processes and systems including our CRM Salesforce and Hubspot  
  • Budgeting and other project management tools such as Asana and others 

Within 3 months, you will: 

  • Take ownership of event administrative and logistic tasks 
  • Research and evaluate potential events under consideration  
  • Prepare internal event briefs, and post-event recaps 
  • Coordinate important scheduling details including transportation, equipment rentals 
  • Track budgeting and expenses ensuring cost-effective use of resources  
  • Use reporting intelligence to inform field marketing strategic decisions

By the end of the first year, you will: 

  • Attend tradeshows to assist with onsite execution 
  • Collaborate with our Go To Market teams to ensure event the success of the event 
  • Understand the value of the events you have executed in generating significant exposure or revenue opportunities  
  • Understand how your work has impacted our overall sales pipeline in terms of qualified leads 
  • Foster meaningful connections with customers and prospects through interactive events and engaging product demonstrations and experiences 

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? 

Event Planning and Execution Expertise:  

  • Profound understanding and experience in end-to-end event management, including the ability to ideate, plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events such as trade shows, conferences, and hosted receptions. This involves logistics, vendor management, and on-site leadership to ensure events run smoothly and effectively. 

Strategic Marketing Analysis:  

  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement comprehensive field marketing strategies that align with Evolv's overall marketing objectives. This includes the ability to adapt strategies based on evolving market trends and customer insights, ensuring each event maximizes impact on target audiences. Capacity to analyze event outcomes and market data to assess the effectiveness of field marketing efforts. Must be adept at using analytical tools to track ROI, lead generation, customer engagement, and other key metrics, adjusting strategies based on performance data to optimize future activities. 

Cross-functional Team Collaboration:  

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and collaboratively with multiple internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Logistics, to ensure a unified approach to field marketing. Effective at building relationships and leveraging team strengths to enhance event success and drive company goals. 

Budget Management and Optimization:  

  • Skilled in managing and allocating budgets for regional marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while achieving desired outcomes. Includes tracking expenses, evaluating financial performance of events, and making informed decisions to maximize ROI. 

Technical Proficiency in Marketing Tools:  

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce.com and HubSpot, essential for lead and campaign management, tracking, and reporting. Comfortable with the technical aspects of field marketing, including digital marketing tactics. 

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team?

You will be joining the Field Marketing team and reporting directly to the Senior Field Marketing Manager, Team Lead. The team culture is one based on building trust, collaboration, on-going development through kindness, authenticity, courage, drive, and fun! 

Where is the role located? 

Our ideal candidate may work remotely and is based in or near any metropolitan city within the Midwest or Rockies/ Central region, with an ability to travel domestically at least 50% of the time. Depending on our trade show schedule, a willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, nights or weekends may be required from time to time. 

What is the salary range? 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$110,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
