NOTE: We're hiring remotely for this role in the United Kingdom. Your exact location does not matter because there is not a physical office. You must be open to travel in this role.
ClickHouse is looking for a regional marketing manager focused on all marketing activities in the EMEA region. As a regional marketing manager, you will be responsible for supporting the EMEA sales team in developing and managing regional-based pipeline generation programs and event campaigns to build awareness, strategically advancing leads from first touch to adoption through nurture campaigns, and help accelerate opportunities in the sales cycle. This position will collaborate closely with ClickHouse’s sales leaders, sales team, solution architects, product management, channel partners, and marketing ops business units to plan, execute, and track the successes of the EMEA company goals.
What you will do:

Program Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement EMEA regional programs, aligned with company goals and aimed to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement for the company's database offerings. Programs may include sponsored events, community meetups, account-based events and outreach, digital marketing strategies, and more.

Coordinate Third-Party Events: Plan, manage, and execute participation in third-party events across the EMEA region, ensuring regional alignment, meeting 3rd party deadlines, while achieving the company's marketing goals and brand standards.

Vendor & Partner Management: Collaborate and plan with external vendors, partners, and event organizers to ensure smooth program execution and maximize ROI from event sponsorships and participation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Able to work closely with sales, SAs, product, and global marketing teams to ensure program objectives align with overall business goals and EMEA go-to-market strategies.

Budget Management: Manage a marketing budget for the EMEA region, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality program experiences.

Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of program participation, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies and marketing campaigns.

Brand Ambassador: Serve as a key representative of the company at events, ensuring the brand's message and value propositions are effectively communicated to the target audience.

Coordinate User Stories: Collaborate with customers to develop compelling testimonials, quotes, interviews, and case studies that highlight the value and impact our products have on users and customers within the EMEA region both as part of broader programs and as standalone pieces.

Social Media: Develop and execute region-specific social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement, while aligning with overall marketing strategies and regional goals.

Partner Marketing: Coordinate and implement regional partner marketing programs, fostering strong relationships with key identified and committed EMEA partners to amplify joint marketing efforts, drive mutual growth and opportunities.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs within the EMEA region to quickly identify new opportunities for event participation and marketing initiatives.
What you bring along:

Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in regional marketing specializing in the EMEA region in a fast-paced startup environment.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and collaborate with diverse teams globally.

Program Management Expertise: Proven experience in planning (from beginning) and executing (to end) large-scale programs across multiple countries within the EMEA region, with a focus on driving brand awareness and lead generation.

Sales Alignment: Experience collaborating closely with regional sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives, ensuring cohesive execution of programs and regional marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue targets.

Strategic Marketing Alignment: Strong ability to develop and implement 1:1 and 1:many marketing strategies that align with company goals, particularly in the context of third-party events, industry partnerships, and regional activities.

Cross-Cultural Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse global teams across different cultures and regions, ensuring consistent collaboration brand messaging.

Vendor & Partnership Management: Extensive experience in managing relationships with vendors, partners, and event organizers, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.

Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure program effectiveness in line with company’s key marketing metrics, monitor ROI across time periods, interpret performance metrics, and leverage data insights to optimize marketing strategies or quickly pivot.

Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing large event budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency while delivering impactful marketing outcomes.

Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to adapt to changing market conditions and event dynamics, with a proactive approach to solving challenges and seizing opportunities.

Project Management: Advanced project management, organizational skills and a can-do attitude, with the ability to juggle multiple programs, ability to meet timelines, and to effectively collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.

Tools and platforms: proficient in Marketo, Salesforce, Google tools and applications, Canva, Figma, GitHub, and other collaboration tools.

Ability to Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within the region for up to 50% of the time.

This role offers cash compensation and a stock options grant. For roles based in the United States, you can find above our typical starting salary ranges for this role, depending on your specific location.
