🎩 Your Role:
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven, and team-oriented Business Development Executive to join our rapidly growing Sales team. Your mission will be to expand our success by identifying and developing growth opportunities specifically within the antique dealers and flea markets segment. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and ongoing account management, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships and driving growth in this unique market.
This is a dynamic role that suits proactive, agile, and resourceful sales professionals. This position includes working on Saturdays to attend the Saint Ouen flea market (you’d be off on Tuesdays), and occasionally on Sundays.
✏️ What you'll do:
Manage the entire sales cycle for antique dealers and flea markets:
- Identify and build a portfolio of clients (Antique Dealers, Flea Markets, and related businesses).
- Utilize outbound outreach techniques to generate a high volume of qualified leads. This is mainly done on the field.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight our value proposition and demonstrate how our platform and tools simplify logistics for antique businesses.
- Manage incoming customers requests, including quotes & use of our pricing algorithm.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with your clients to grow portfolio revenues.
- Represent Convelio at industry events, flea markets, and trade shows to build connections and foster business growth.
Client Relationship Management:
- Become a trusted advisor to your clients by understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Secure business opportunities that are beneficial for both the client and Convelio.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis specific to the antique and flea market industry to stay informed about trends and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and execute a quarterly action plan tailored to your segment.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments (especially Operations and Product) to enhance the performance of the antique dealer and flea market client segment.
Provide feedback to the team on market needs and client expectations to help refine our offerings.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of sales processes and strategies to ensure success in your market.
🧑🎨 Your profile:
- A first solid experience in business development or sales, preferably in logistics or related industries. Experience with antique dealers or the flea market industry is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring, managing, and growing accounts with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Experience in field sales, with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
