Field Application Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Field Application Specialist will play a crucial role in enabling and supporting punch-out integrations with e-procurement systems for biotech companies and institutions. This role involves collaborating with internal and external technology partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of our systems, having a direct impact on customer satisfaction and revenue.
What You’ll Be Boing
- Integration Support: Work with partners and clients to implement and troubleshoot punch-out integrations with their e-procurement systems.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a technical liaison between Twist Bioscience and our partners, providing expertise and guidance on integration processes.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to integration processes, system requirements, and troubleshooting guides.
- Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and partners to ensure effective use of integration tools and systems.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve integration issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams and partners as necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and partners to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Twist Bioscience’s internal teams, including product development and customer support, to align on integration strategies and address client needs.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role, with a focus on e-procurement systems and integrations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-procurement systems, punch-out integration technologies, and relevant programming languages (e.g., CXML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing and resolving issues.
- Client-Centric: Demonstrated experience in working with high-profile clients and institutions, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, partners, and clients to achieve common goals.
