We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Field Application Engineer to oversee and support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IoT terminals designed and manufactured by Plan-S. In this role, you will manage field installation teams, coordinate with customers, and actively participate in on-site activities. Strong communication skills, practical intelligence, and a results-driven approach are essential for success in this position.

• Arrange and coordinate field activities with customers, maintaining clear and effective communication,
• Manage and guide field installation teams to ensure high-quality deployments,
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues promptly during deployment and maintenance,
• Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous design improvements,
• Maintain detailed documentation of field activities, including installation records, troubleshooting logs, and customer interactions,
• Participate in field installations and maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation of the IoT products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field,
• At least 3 years of experience in field installation, maintenance, or technical support roles,
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field,
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and technical teams,
• Familiarity with satellite or IoT systems is a plus,
• Ability to travel extensively to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with satellite communication equipment or IoT devices,
• Proven leadership abilities in managing field teams and projects,
• Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques for networking or satellite communication systems.
