The Optical Technician, will assist with the manufacturing and testing of various fiber optic and electrical components within a manufacturing environment. Also, able to perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor or manager within the physical constraints of the job.

OPERATIONS
- Manufacture, assemble and test various fiber optic and electrical components
- Identify non-conforming material
- Follow instructions to maintain workflow in accordance with process cycle process times.
- Perform intricate procedures during product assembly process
COMMUNICATION
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
- Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
FINANCIAL

- Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

Experience & Education
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanically/Electronically Inclined
PREFERRED
- 1+ years of related experience in fiber-optic and/or electronic assembly
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
- Good computer skills and Microsoft knowledge

- This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%
