We have a new opportunity for a Factory Cleaner to join our team at our Production site in Crewe (CW3 9LY).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors in and around – toilets, mess rooms, offices
- Clean commercial buildings by emptying rubbish bins, servicing toilets and wiping down communal surfaces
- Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request
- Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris upon request
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers (using fork lift if required)
- Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
- Notify building management of any repairs required
- Maintain focus on gold standards of safety at all times, constantly vigilant and pro-active in respect of recognising and reporting hazards, ensuring high levels of awareness, and taking a continuous improvement approach to the working environment and Safety behaviours in respect of self, colleagues and any other third parties/visitors
- Always seek to add value, applying lean principles, wherever applicable
- Any other duties that are considered to be within the capability of the job holder that may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning Organised and able to follow a schedule
- General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
- High level of awareness, and pro-active approach, towards safety with a sound track record of achieving high standards of safety at all times for self, team members, all colleagues and third parties as appropriate
