Let’s start with the role

A Facilities Engineer should participate in all building-related activities and procurement initiatives for existing & new offices for areas under her/ his supervision. Main responsibility will be to preserve the good condition of our premises and to ensure that infrastructure is safe, well-maintained, and meets the needs and standards of the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Participating in refurbishments, renovations, expansions and moves of offices in various countries and making sure they all run smoothly and according to plan;
  • Handling internal customers’ requests;
  • Overseeing and monitoring contracts of services including construction, maintenance, parking, cleaning and furnishing in terms of technical, timely and cost-effective completion;
  • Coordinating and monitoring operations including maintenance, cleaning, pest control, recycling, internal projects, technical asset management, and vendor management;
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance;
  • Assisting in major organization projects;
  • Ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and according to schedules;
  • Managing vendors and ensuring cost-effectiveness;
  • Being a contact person for emergency situations;
  • Allocating and managing office space;
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols;
  • Keeping logs and drafting relevant reports;
  • Collaborating and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external contractors;
  • Deploying Workspace (our desk Booking tool) management processes and procedures.


Requirements/Ideal Background 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Construction or Facilities company
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel & AutoCAD
  • Proficient level of spoken & written English.
