Please note that there is some degree of flexibility around the level of seniority in the position - you’re ideally a chemical biologist who is somewhere between Senior Research Scientist and Distinguished Researcher (Director) but we will need you to take an active hands-on role as an individual contributor rather than being a people manager.

You will be joining the expanding “Exploratory Sciences” team, focused on tackling proteins which are critical for disease biology, but have been traditionally considered intractable.
As a member of the Exploratory Sciences team, you will be responsible for the application of state-of-the-art chemical biology techniques to deliver highly innovative and creative solutions to long-standing challenges in drug discovery. You will need to design and execute on bold strategies that leverage the Isolabs platform, daring to go after problems that are currently considered impossible.
This is a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside world leading AI/ML and Drug Design Platform teams. You will collaborate to deliver scientific expertise and strategic direction to drive both improvements in the Platform and apply this to unsolved drug design problems.

It’s hugely important for us to be able to share knowledge and establish relationships with each other, and we find it easier to do this if we spend time together in person. This is why we’ve decided to follow a hybrid model, and for full time positions we would require you to be able to come into the office 3 days a week (currently Tue, Wed, and one other day depending on which team you’re in).
