What is Expert Public Sector Partnerships?

As the Expert Public Sector Partnerships, you will drive the growth and performance of the Public Sector Partnerships Department at Jazz. Key responsibilities include managing government and INGO tenders, enabling revenue and volume growth through data-driven insights, and ensuring timely partner integrations. This role emphasizes strategy development for enhancing the Public Partnerships portfolio, managing high-stakes government projects, and building strong relationships with public sector entities. You will collaborate closely with product, technology, BI, and other internal teams, using advanced analytics and dashboards to track performance and meet growth targets.

What does Expert Public Sector Partnerships do?

  • Product & Market Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of JazzCash products and solutions; conduct market research and industry analysis for growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the principal liaison between regional teams, internal teams, and public sector entities. Promote digital payment solutions, pursue high-value organizations, and create advocacy for digital payments with government bodies.
  • Government Tender Management: Oversee the end-to-end preparation and submission of government and INGO tenders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with client needs and competitive positioning.
  • Growth & Strategy: Identify and build a pipeline of potential clients, new verticals, and digital payment opportunities through research and client analysis. Create strategy presentations, pitch decks, and data-driven interventions to enable growth and cross-selling.
  • Performance Management: Track and forecast performance for existing partnerships; ensure data visibility with performance dashboards and detailed reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Maintain an in-depth understanding of backend operations and stay updated on digital finance regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Proficiency in technical writing, business analytics, research, and presentation skills, especially in PowerPoint.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with Public Sector Entities is preferred. Familiarity with the Fintech and Banking sectors is an advantage.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital payment products like Collections, Disbursements, Payment Gateway, etc.
  • Stakeholder & Research Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, market research, and technical writing skills.
