What is Expert Product Planning?

As an Expert in Product Planning, you will play a crucial role in ensuring sprint planning and timely deliverables. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with multiple stakeholders to gather sprint requirements and organizing all phases of the process. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will facilitate sprint planning sessions, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your focus on meticulous organization and coordination will be instrumental in driving successful sprint execution and meeting project milestones. This position reports directly to the Stream Head Product Planning at JazzCash.

What does Expert Product Planning do?

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze and document requirements, determine solutions, assist in addressing any project impediments, and prioritize demand in accordance with business needs and IT capacity.
  • Utilize familiarity with Agile methodologies & tools to guide project execution.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with milestones and timelines for the successful launch of products.
  • Track budgets, prepare/ vet forecasts, manage project deliverables, and effectively manage risks.
  • Build cross-functional teams, coordinate with teams through the project pipeline, and drive their performance.
  • Negotiate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure their engagement in projects.
  • Regularly report to project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure end-to-end management of the product lifecycle from inception to delivery and post-launch tracking.
  • Ensure effective bandwidth management ensuring business critical tasks, customer experience initiatives and other requirements are rolled out timely while ensuring quality.

Requirements

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in understanding the software development life cycle in a financial landscape will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, along with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, analyze requirements, determine solutions, and prioritize demand.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies & tools.
  • Experience in developing project plans, tracking budgets, managing risks, and driving team performance.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with internal & external stakeholders and report project progress regularly.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle effectively.
