The Core Infrastructure Team is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with Cloud experience for living thrilling adventures. You will help us to provide reliable, high-performing and secure services to guarantee the best Deezer Experience around the world in a resource-efficient way. You will be confronted with various challenges tied to a high traffic and high availability environment. You will contribute to the continuing evolution of the platform and associated services..
What you will do:
Analyse, plan and move key workloads to the cloud (GCP)
Build, deploy, monitor and maintain services, solutions and tools impacting our whole infrastructure (On-premise & Cloud)
Collaborate with product & tech teams to evolve and improve on-premises and Cloud solutions
Monitor, detect anomalies, investigate problems, resolve incidents and write post-mortems, being in the on-call rotation
Participate in code and architecture reviews of our solutions from product & tech teams
Help the team to handle its workload and reduce its toil
Help ensure the security and integrity of our platform and services
What we are looking for:
Experience 5+ years
Essential
Expert knowledge of GCP and migrating workloads
Strong knowledge of GNU/Linux systems (we use Ubuntu)
Strong knowledge with Kubernetes, GKE and containerization (Docker)
Experience with analysing and implementing platform migrations
Experience with DevOps practices and philosophy (we use Git, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Golang, etc.)
Soft skills:
Very good communication and Inspirational Leadership skills
At ease in teamwork and sharing of work using Kanban
Ability to work autonomously, to self-organise team work in collaboration with the team
Fluent in writing well-documented procedures in English
Supporting junior team members, giving advice and constructive feedback
Promoting change, evangelising good practices
Leading team meetings and arousing enthusiasm for a shared vision
