Who We Are:
At lulafit we are redefining amenity management in commercial real estate by activating shared spaces in the modern workplace. We blend creativity with strategic insights to craft solutions tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of our clients and their tenants.

Whether it's designing state-of-the-art fitness centers, cultivating exceptional meetings, or curating engaging events and programming, we are committed to setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.

Join us as we embark on a journey to transform spaces, inspire innovation, and shape the future of work.

Your Mission:
Your mission is twofold.  First, you’ll lead the community event program at the Porte apartment complex through planning and executing quarterly events for the Porte residents to build a thriving community.

You’ll also support our HQ operations by coordinating personnel support and managing various other projects across our 16 Chicago market locations, supporting 20+ full time employees, for planned and unplanned time off so we can ensure we’re always providing the highest level of service for our customers.

The Legacy You’ll Leave:
During your time in this role, you brought daily joy to thousands of people who live at Porte Apartments and across our Chicago market. You created deep and meaningful relationships with our clients, tenants, residents, and external partners, ensuring they never wanted to see your team leave. Your legacy brought wellness and peak performance to the masses and you ensured  our lulafit team became a lasting fixture in our beloved Chicago community.

What You're Responsible For:

  • Chicago Site Schedule Management: Manage and coordinate Chicago site coverage schedules to ensure optimal staffing and operational efficiency, providing ongoing support to address any scheduling conflicts or operational issues as they arise.
  • Chicago Site Operational Support: Be the main stand-in for Chicago site team members by covering their shifts and executing on their daily tasks. This may include executing meetings and conferences, supporting or executing events, opening or closing fitness centers, or providing a hospitable presence at the front desk of any of our locations.
  • Curated Event Design and Execution: Conceptualize, plan, and deliver a range of quarterly tailored events for the residents at Porte Apartments, such as Portraits with your Pets or a serene sound bath experience. Your events will result in a high satisfaction score both from the residents of Porte as well as the property management team.
  • Resident Satisfaction and Engagement: Prioritize resident satisfaction by actively engaging with residents to understand their needs and preferences. Implement innovative strategies and programs to enhance their experience, fostering a vibrant and connected community that drives long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Contractor Team Management: Directly oversee a team of contract fitness instructors including onboarding, coordinating and managing their schedules, approving their payroll, and providing regular company updates.
  • Lulafit + Building Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal Lulafit team members across the Chicago market. Partner with the building maintenance and operations teams as needed to ensure the facilities are well maintained.

Who You Are: Baseline Requirements:

  • You have 2+ years experience developing and executing events. You may have worked as an event coordinator at a large venue or as a tenant service coordinator in a commercial office building.
  • You have 1+ years experience in operational project management such as staff scheduling and/or coordinating meetings.
  • You are proficient with both the Google suite (what lulafit uses) and Microsoft Office (what our clients use).  Don’t worry, you don’t need to be great at PowerPoint nor super savvy with Excel.

Who You Are: Key Competencies:

  • A hyper-organized ball juggler.  You stay extremely organized and are constantly reprioritizing your own work because it’s what makes you most effective.  Everyone refers to you as a stellar multi-tasker. You can instinctually reprioritize your tasks based on changing demands, and can keep a level head and hospitality mindset through these changes.
  • You are a stellar communicator.  You are known for clearly communicating your points - whether in email or verbally.  In this role you’ll be coordinating and confirming schedules for coverage and events, sending vendor communications, and engaging with different levels of stakeholders (office managers to C-Suite).
  • A flexible and adaptable entrepreneur. You thrive in an ever changing environment and prefer when your work varies day to day. You are able to work autonomously and consistently aim to anticipate colleague and tenant needs. You proactively can identify issues or inefficiencies and take ownership of finding solutions.
  • Obsessively customer-centric.  In previous roles, you have exceeded what customers expected of you, you have an innate hospitality mindset and are happiest when you are serving others.
  • Creative and innovative mindset. You are an authentically curious person. You consistently envision new possibilities and generate ideas beyond conventional boundaries. You have an inclination to tackle challenges with original approaches, seeking unique ways to address issues and improve existing methods.

Our Core Values:
Lulafit’s culture is based on a shared respect for our lived values HERE.  Fit with our values is a critical component of our hiring process, and you and all of our colleagues are expected to live our core values in interactions with team members, customers, and stakeholders.  An assessment of how you have exhibited our values is also an important part of your performance review process.

Our Commitment To You:
Lulafit is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.  We know the more inclusive we are, the greater our impact will be!
