YOUR ROLE 

We are looking for a proven leader from a marketing background. This role requires someone who understands the local and regional landscape, who is passionate about delivering great work and who thrives on growing business and leading integrated digital teams.  
 
You will be required to implement actionable plans to meet the Activation Centre’s objectives, lead and manage multiple team members, communicate effectively, learn quickly and be able to work with multiple stakeholders in a complex regional network. 

The role is for a top ten global luxury brand. The account is very high profile within our agency group with exciting targets. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • To build a strong relationship with the Experience Centre agency and client teams. 
  • To grow a new Operational hub for one of the world’s top 10 brands alongside the regional leadership team. 
  • To execute the company strategy for the Region Europe Experience Centre.  
  • Optimise and deliver daily business operations for the REU Experience Centre. 
  • Lead an integrated team of Project Managers and Account Managers to deliver the regional REU.EC vision, in close collaboration with the clients. 
  • To oversee multiple departments from the outset of this new operation. 
  • Adhere to local business laws, regulations and Omnicom company policies. 
  • Partner with leadership teams across offices to develop the annual new business plan. 
  • Implement internal processes working in partnership with the Operations and Delivery. 
  • Reviews processes quarterly with the Delivery and Operations providing joint recommendations to optimize 
  • Manage ongoing pipeline report and associated internal reporting needs.  
  • Build and maintain productive relationships across our network, with industry peers. 
  • Proactively participate in building agency brand perception and positive reputation.   
  • Serve as first line of contact for prospective clients.   
  • Help in the creation of specific prospecting strategies - working with agency leadership.   
  • Support the development and evolution of proactive and reactive sales materials.  

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 

  • Extensive experience in advertising/marketing business development. 
  • Key account (Fortune 500) experience in winning, onboarding, managing business. 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in consultative and service-based selling  
  • Proven sales track record with seven figure sales transactions and long (multi-month) sales cycles. 
  • Proven track record with brand sales—past success and established relationships. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels. 
  • Excellent communication skills – clear and compelling verbal and written communications. 
  • Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization and seek to understand and empower those different perspectives and cultures.   
  • Contributes to a work culture where differences are valued and supported.   
  • Applies others' diverse experiences, styles, backgrounds, and perspectives to get results.   
  • Is sensitive to cultural norms, expectations, and ways of communicating.
