Expansion Manager

Join a fast-growing company with a purpose! At Fastned you will actively contribute to accelerating the transition to electric mobility. We are looking for an Expansion Manager based in Amsterdam to join our Network Development team at Fastned. Be part of our Dutch expansion team and build a Europe-wide network of 1,000 fast charging stations with us. We are a team of over 200 employees spread across 9 locations, with our HQ in Amsterdam.

Your role

As an Expansion Manager for The Netherlands, you will drive the growth of Fastned and contribute to our mission: 'Giving freedom to the Electric Driver". In this role, you will help drive the growth of our locations in the Netherlands, as we strive to build a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations in prime locations.

In concrete terms, this means you…

• Expand our fast-charging network in The Netherlands by securing new locations (from scouting to signed land leases) and by developing new partnerships (with both commercial land owners and governmental agencies) together with a highly skilled, international team.
• Implement a strong network development plan for your focus area, while continuously expanding & managing the portfolio of contracted sites.
• You have a keen eye for market developments and you know when to take advantage of the right opportunities. This includes monitoring policy development and understanding its impact on our development plans.
• Help the team structure and templatize processes as much as possible to maximize effectiveness & efficiency.
• In this role you need to feel comfortable diving into technical topics (together with our subject experts), as you need to know your part when leading negotiations. 

Electromobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will take part in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything you need to know about electromobility and fast-charging infrastructure.
