EXM Sales Engineer

Position Summary:

The Sales Engineer – ExM (Enterprise Service/Asset Management) in Japan will be responsible for market success in for the Japan region. You will be responsible for communicating the EXM value proposition to prospects and partners. You will develop a strong partnership with your Territory Managers to provide a comprehensive and compelling message to executive and technology leaders across all industries within the region.

You will be leading interactive pre-sales discovery meetings, analyzing customers’ current technology and architecture, operational and business needs. Owning deep-dive technical discussion, and then developing a tailor-made presentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform live demos that articulate both, the business and technical value of the solution to Operator B2B Presales / Sales teams
  • Present the solution architecture, e.g. at roadshows, events, B2B operator team meetings or sales kick off events
  • Conduct in-depth solution architectures, POCs and product evaluations to verify solution meets prospect’s ITSM requirements
  • Perform production trainings as related to evaluations
  • Ability to work well with both IT and business people
  • Ability to present to both individual contributors as well as executives
  • Ability and experience to work independently in remote office locations
  • Ability to complete RFP’s, RFT’s and other Technical responses.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Fluent in Japanese and business fluent in English is preferred.
  • 5+ years Experience in a PreSales capacity.
  • Knowledge of Service and Asset Management solutions.
  • Experience demonstrating enterprise software solutions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with large enterprise companies to define solution requirements and map requirements to software solutions.
  • ITSM or ITAM certifications recommended.
