Your Impact
As an Executive Recruiter supporting the CFO/COO organization at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and hiring the leaders who will drive our mission to protect life, accelerate justice, and bring transparency to public safety. With expertise in market trends, talent landscapes, and advanced recruiting methodologies, you will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leaders and hiring teams. Your ability to blend data-driven insights, strategic influence, and exceptional relationship management will enable you to deliver impactful hiring results. In this role, you will champion our values and help shape Axon’s leadership pipeline, ensuring alignment with our vision and business goals.
Location: Axon US hub site (greater Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC metro areas)
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Talent Partnership:
- Collaborate across multiple departments to develop, prioritize, and execute hiring strategies.
- Showcase an in-depth understanding of Axon’s business lanes, company goals, key milestones, and measures of success that fosters a consultative and strategic business partner relationship with executive leadership.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, guiding them on hiring needs, market trends, and workforce planning.
- Own and execute deep strategic insights on market trends, talent landscapes, and internal staffing needs to meet and exceed hiring expectations and overarching GTA M&Ms.
- Full-Cycle Executive Recruitment:
- Lead the recruitment lifecycle for senior and executive-level roles, from ideal candidate profile ideation, through sourcing and engagement, to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with executive candidates, acting as a guide and advocate throughout the candidate and employee lifecycle.
- Sourcing and Pipeline Development:
- Leverage advanced sourcing methodologies to build robust talent networks that proactively turn prospects into candidates.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of passive senior-level talent for future needs, ensuring readiness to meet critical business demands and cultivate proactive recruiting strategies.
- Analyze and report on sourcing channel effectiveness, using data to refine strategies and continuously improve outcomes.
- Data-Driven Recruiting:
- Serve as the owner of recruiting data analytics- showcasing strong operational excellence and using insights to identify gaps, analyze trends, and implement solutions that drive hiring success.
- Develop systems and metrics to monitor internal and external trends, including talent pools, competition, costs, and retention.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform hiring strategies and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
- Candidate Experience and Influence:
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining timely communication and ensuring candidates feel valued and receive the “yellow carpet” experience throughout the process.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to craft and deliver complex offers while maintaining credibility and objectivity with senior candidates.
- Influence senior and executive-level debriefs, providing thought leadership and ensuring alignment and balanced decision making.
- Collaboration and Best Practices:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in executive recruiting, keeping up to date with the broader market and sharing best practices that elevate the hiring process (inclusive of interviewing, assessing, and persuasively engaging with top tier leadership talent).
- Coach and mentor recruiters on advanced sourcing, interviewing, and recruiting methodologies.
What You’ll Bring

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in executive or senior-level recruiting, with a proven track record of success in high-growth, competitive industries.

Expertise: Deep knowledge of market trends, talent landscapes, and advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other innovative tools.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to articulate team vision, priorities, and metrics effectively to candidates and hiring teams.

Data Literacy: Ability to interpret and act on data insights to influence hiring strategies and continuously improve processes.

Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to build trust and rapport with executives, candidates, and external partners, including search firms.

Negotiation and Influence: Skilled in navigating complex negotiations, influencing stakeholders, and driving results in high-stakes recruitment processes.

Leadership and Collaboration: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for mentoring and enabling hiring teams to achieve their goals.

Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding experiences for both internal stakeholders and executive candidates.
