Handshake is hiring an Executive Engagement Program Manager who will join the Impact team to ensure that we can build deeper relationships with executives at customer and prospect organizations while professionalizing our approach. You will be responsible for developing and managing the infrastructure and operations of the Executive Engagement Program (EEP). You’ll coordinate collaboration between the Handshake executive team, account teams, and customers.
You will report to the Chief Impact Officer and work closely with the Chief Talent Engagement Officer, Executive Engagement Director, Chief Education Strategy Officer, the sales organization, and other Handshake executives. You will have the opportunity to build new processes and approaches as well as develop relationships with cross-functional partners, including Insights, Marketing, and Communications. You’ll also build and shape executive communications, event strategy, and content development.
Understand the goals and needs of different customer and prospect segments to create processes and tools that drive Executive Engagement Program utilization
Serve as the primary point of contact between account teams and Handshake executives, account executives and account managers This will include:
Edit and route email drafts to Handshake executives for agreed upon outreach
Scheduling upcoming events/meetings on Handshake executive’s calendars (working with EAs)
Send out requests to Handshake executives when a new request is needed (e.g., churn risk outreach)
Collaborate with AEs/AMs to develop prep docs for HS Ambassadors meetings and events
Manage all tracking requirements for Salesforce and/or Gainsight
Create required program reporting
Maintain central Executive Engagement calendar with EEP events, executive vacation time, event attendance and important internal EEP meetings
Maintain the “source of truth” list for prioritized customers and prospects who will be engaged by the EEP
Manage preparation, execution and follow-up activities for EEP-managed events and events/conferences attended by Handshake executives
Draft pre-event and follow-up internal and external communications
Ensure we identify customer/prospect next steps and share with relevant Handshake executives and account teams
Communicate with customers/prospects as needed
Draft social media post content for Handshake executives and customer/prospect attendees
Assess what is working and not working in the EEP and develop plans to scale successes and resolve issues
Source executive engagement knowledge and best practices to guide EEP program assessment
Support Sales Enablement in creating content and playbooks that bring learnings and additional structure to the sales team
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
