The Basics:

The Executive Engagement Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Demand Generation team in various demand generation projects spanning sales support, executive content creation, and programs.

This is a hybrid position based out of Tanium's Emeryville, CA office. 

The hourly rate for this internship is $27.00. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. The actual rate offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an hourly rate, interns will be eligible for a housing stipend, 401k matching, and a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement.  

What you'll do:

  • Learn first-hand how to work with Sales Teams to prepare Tanium’s executives for business-critical meetings with leaders from customers, prospcts, and partners 
  • Work with Sales Team on executive connection research for their top accounts using tools like RelSci and LinkedIn Sales Navigator 
  • Help the Executive Engagements Team manage and draft executive engagement requests 
  • Help Sales and the Executive Engagements Teams track executive engagements in Salesforce 
  • Help manage Executive Meetings with Tanium’s customers and partners 
  • Help onboard and train new Sales and Marketing employees on how to leverage Tanium's Executive Engagement Programs 
  • Support Executives’ and Sales Teams’ follow-up action items from executive meetings 
  • Build the team SharePoint to provide clear communication on standard operating procedures, workflows, templates, forms, etc.  
  • Present program updates to the Sales and Marketing Team 

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
  • Available to work full-time from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
  • A currently enrolled Bachelors degree candidate, ideally with a 3.5+ GPA
  • Graduating Spring 2026 or Fall 2025 
  • With a process-oriented mindset, who can work through complex problem-solving scenarios
  • Who has an interest in supporting executive-level clients and sales teams
  • Who has an interest in understanding the innerworkings of a marketing team – people, process, program, pipeline
  • Who has an interest in operationalizing work, finding efficiencies in daily tasks
  • With strong organization, critical thinking and communication skills
