Job Title: Executive Assistant

Job Intro: 

This position will be based out of our San Francisco office. And will require 4 days in office (Monday-Thursday, approx. 8AM - 4:30PM with some flexibility for adjustment based on business needs), and remote on Fridays.
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Verana Health, you will play a pivotal role to drive the seamless operation of our fast moving organization. As the right-hand support to our CEO, your approachable nature will be integral in fostering a positive company culture, making you an indispensable part of our innovative journey. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO.
  • Manage the CEO's schedule, travel arrangements, and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in board liaison activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Uphold a high level of professionalism in all interactions, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Foster an approachable demeanor to facilitate effective communication and rapport-building within the organization.
  • Play an integral role in company culture by actively engaging with team members and contributing to a positive work environment.

Basic Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as an executive assistant, with a strong background in startup environments.
  • 2+ years of experience working as executive assistant for C-Suite (preferably CEO)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing board-related activities and interactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to handle complex schedules and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills to integrate seamlessly into the company culture.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address the CEO.

Bonus Experience 

  • Experience managing CEO’s Social Media profiles (LinkedIn, X, etc.) 
  • Presentation backend operations

Verana Health is committed to complying with all applicable pay transparency laws and supports equitable pay practices. We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.
