Offchain Labs has developed a suite of scaling solutions for Ethereum. This includes Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum's security. Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since it’s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling. Arbitrum today is the leading Ethereum scaling solution with dominant market share including hundreds of apps on the platform and over 40% of all rollup liquidity. Offchain labs also contributes to the Ethereum core protocol with the Prysm consensus client. The Prysm project is a Go implementation of the Ethereum protocol as detailed by its official specification. It contains a full beacon node implementation as well as a validator client for participating in blockchain consensus.

After raising an initial round of $3.8M in seed funding in January 2019 and a $20M series A, as well as a $100M series B in 2021, we are ready to hire additional team members who have an interest in working in the blockchain space and a knack for approaching problems in unconventional ways.

We are looking for an exceptional executive assistant to support our CEO. This is a critical role where you will provide high-touch assistance while coordinating meetings, events and managing a high volume of emails. The role involves handling a mix of personal and professional duties, ensuring the CEO can devote their complete attention to achieving the company's mission. The ideal candidate is even-tempered, kind in nature and highly organized.

Who you are:

  • Extensive and robust background in supporting C-level executives.
  • You are highly responsive and available as needed to address urgent matters and ensure the CEO's schedule runs smoothly.
  • Possess a proactive approach to task execution and excel at anticipating future needs.
  • Take an active role in shaping information and organizational dynamics.
  • Have a proven track record of working with late-stage technology startups or established public technology companies.
  • Demonstrate clear, direct, and empathetic communication skills, along with sharp listening abilities.
  • Display self-directed initiative in achieving outstanding work outcomes.

What you’ve done:

  • Provided high-touch, concierge-like support to a C-suite Executive.
  • Managed intricate and time-sensitive scheduling demands efficiently and proactively, while prioritizing conflicting requirements.
  • Proficiently handled expense reports.
  • Managed a high volume of emails, flagging important messages and coordinating calls and meetings as necessary.
  • Drafted and prepared confidential correspondence on behalf of C-suite executives.
  • Organized detailed travel arrangements, itineraries, and agendas.
  • Collaborated on and coordinated projects and event planning activities, including off-site meetings and employee retreats.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $170,000 + Tokens + Equity + Benefits. The compensation range is specific to New York, NY.
