About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and outgoing Events Specialist to assist Euromonitor International in delivering phenomenal events that build business relationships, generate excitement around our organisation, grow quality leads, and amplify brand awareness.
By positioning Euromonitor as a thought leader, the ideal candidate will search for the best conferences to represent our expertise and capabilities, will deliver a remarkable brand experience for our clientele, enhance our organisation's image, aid business growth, and deliver internal, digital and external events that meet objectives and exceed expectations.
This role will report to the Global Head of Events and will inspire confidence in our brand and communicate events strategy to internal and external stakeholders. This position needs organisational skills, excellent multi-tasking skills, superb interpersonal skills, and be creative.
Reporting to the Global Head of Events, you will:
- Support the development of the Events strategy and direction to enrich the value proposition Euromonitor provides for internal, digital and physical events
- Manage and execute day-to-day events by ensuring the highest quality of delivery in support of the organisation’s Events strategy and business needs
- Identify most relevant events in which Euromonitor should be represented as a thought leader to showcase our expertise and become the go-to market firm
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing-Communications, Product, Digital and Content teams to ensure all elements of the Events are in alignment to set up for success
- Find innovative and creative ways to build relationships with event organisers and negotiate with them for better exposure, better brand positioning and to ensure lead generation
- Working closely with the Marketing team, develop creative and effective messaging for event invitations, landing pages and marketing collaterals to drive registrations and attendees
- Create and maintain a balanced event calendar with a strategic agenda
- Help develop production timelines and monitor proactively to ensure team meets all deadlines
- Develop and improve the customer experience at each event, ensuring feedback is collated, highlighted and incorporated
- As required, provide your colleagues with local language support. For better localisation of content and to generate greater marketing engagement at a local or regional level
- Ad hoc tasks as requested by leadership across global and regional activities, Marketing and Communications campaigns, newsletters, etc.
Requirements
What we’re looking for from you:
- 3-4 years of experience in events planning, marketing and management
- Advanced English level
- The ability to keep all the moving parts of various events organised
- Event planning experience with a background in project management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong negotiations skills
- Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- Ability to work well as a team and independently
- A creative and curious mind partnered with the ability to organise and coordinate the best events for Euromonitor with a high engagement rate with our clientele
