We are seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager to own Procore’s APAC focused event marketing strategy, management and execution. This role will work on, amplifying our brand and developing the sales pipeline through event marketing projects in APAC.

As an Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for working with our internal teams, industry organisations, and external vendors to define and deliver event programs that drive pipeline and revenue and offer creative experiences to boost our brand profile. You would be responsible for organising and managing our presence at trade shows, our own-hosted client events, internal events and webinars. You will need exceptional leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of both in-person and virtual event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience executing best-in-class owned and third party events. 

You will work closely with key stakeholder teams, inclusive of the Growth & Integrated Marketing Team, Sales and Customer Success. This position will play a pivotal role in lead generation associated with events and must ensure marketing materials and execution aligns with the company’s branding and business objectives.

This position reports into the Sr. Director of Growth & Integrated Marketing and is based in our Sydney office. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop the strategy and execution plans for the right event at the right time based on Procore’s ICP and segment based strategy. 
  • Lead the strategic planning of annual third party tradeshows, in partnership with Demand Generation and Campaign Marketing Teams, ensuring alignment with key business objectives and with other stakeholders throughout the organisation 
  • Partner and collaborate with the performance, branding, campaigns and web marketing teams around event promotion.
  • Manage the event marketing budget and track ROI to fully realise, understand and communicate the impact of event marketing on Procore’s business and lead the measurement and reporting strategy of all events
  • Lead and execute internal company-wide events, as necessary 
  • Manage external vendor relationships, including overseeing the vendor selection process, negotiating budgets and managing contracts 
  • Organise and manage the marketing events calendar
  • Willingness and excitement to travel approximately 20-30%.

What you'll bring:

  • 12+ years of event management and planning experience, including experience working in a SaaS or B2B technology company.
  • Ability to think strategically as it pertains to targeting the ICP via events - both digital and physical, with commercial acumen and understanding of ROI
  • Solid understanding of event marketing, management and logistics and history of program development and execution is preferred but can also perform tactical duties as required.
  • Effective communicator - both verbal and written - with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and delivering against multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-moving environment.
  • Creative and innovative with an ‘out of the box’ mindset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive contributor.
  • Extremely organised with great attention to detail.
