Purpose of the role
As an Events Project Manager, you will support one of our biggest and most relevant clients in coordinating big-scope events across the Cloud sector. This includes:
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Appropriate use of verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain event project plans and update strategic timelines for core workstreams
- Serve as main point of contact across multiple stakeholders to ensure event milestones are me
- Maintain a real-time project tracker for Stakeholders and incorporate new requests / feedback based on priority
- Coordinate with cross-functionally with our client's planning team, Strategy & Operations, field teams, etc. to organize event staffing, ticketing, and regional summit planning
- Create internal communications and presentations, and work with internal communications teams to distribute messages to appropriate audiences
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager
- BA/BS degree OR equivalent practical experience
- Native/Proficient level of English
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Event management, planning, and execution
- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership
- Experience working with a cross-functional team and geographically dispersed stakeholders
- Ability to create and manage efficient, scalable processes
- Excellent independent problem-solving capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- General IT skills: essential computer skills to navigate efficiently a computer based job.
