Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager with excellent communication and customer service skills to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters. The EDRS Manager will work in support of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles in-person and virtual fundraising, cultivation and stewardship and events and communications – with a focus stewardship programs and communications. . They will provide support to Director, Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship, and other programs in the department as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, required
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in donor stewardship or relatable customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge software or similar donor database preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in WebEx, Zoom, or similar virtual event platform preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County
  • Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work
  • If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

About the Position:

  • Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.
  • Shape PPLA’s stewardship program consisting of the project management of donor publications (Annual Report, Newsletters, etc.); and donor stewardship opportunities including PPLA’s recognition and planned giving programs.
  • Lead in oversight of all registration and RSVPs for PPLA in-person and virtual events including day of management of registration table(s) and communication of virtual RSVPs and virtual event platforms.
  • Partner with the Operations Team to adhere to tracking and reporting of donor interests, donor engagement opportunities, recognition societies, and lifetime giving levels.
  • Track stewardship Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as donor retention rates, and the correlation between stewardship communications, event attendance, and giving.
  • Complete various administrative tasks including donor gift forms and donor acknowledgement letters of miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by the Director and in support of the EDRS team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director, Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship, and the Chief Development Officer

  • Hiring range: $65,000 - $78,000 per year (Exempt)
