Requirements

Events & Customer Marketing Director

We’re looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Events & Customer Marketing Director to take responsibility for overseeing high-impact events, driving customer retention and advocacy programs, and managing our customer feedback presence across digital platforms.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic marketing professional with a proven track record in managing events, webinars, and customer-centric programs. You should be able to lead initiatives that deepen relationships with prospects and customers, while driving brand visibility and engagement. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like Marketo and CRM tools like Salesforce is essential.

Ultimately, you should be able to create memorable experiences for our customers and prospects while driving retention, growth, and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute high-profile events, including trade shows, customer/prospect lunches, dinners, and roundtables in major cities
  • Work with partners to co-host events, including at partner briefing centers, to extend the reach of our brand and foster collaboration
  • Organize and manage webinars, both live and on-demand, coordinating all logistics including setup in Marketo and Salesforce
  • Develop and execute customer marketing programs focused on retention and expansion, including loyalty and advocacy initiatives such as awards programs and building community engagement
  • Manage customer feedback presence on platforms like G2 and Gartner, ensuring active engagement and accurate representation of customer experiences
  • Lead customer win/loss reviews to inform marketing and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer success, product marketing) to maximize the impact of events and customer marketing programs
  • Track and analyze the success of events, webinars, and customer programs using metrics and reporting tools, ensuring alignment with business outcomes

Requirements and Skills

  • ~5+ years of proven experience in event management, customer marketing, or a related role
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (Marketo) and CRM platforms (Salesforce)
  • Experience organizing and executing in-person events, including trade shows, partner events, and customer roundtables
  • Strong understanding of customer retention and advocacy strategies, including community building and loyalty programs
  • Hands-on experience with customer feedback platforms such as G2 and Gartner Peer Insights
  • Excellent project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work with external partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on relationship building
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
