This position is responsible for supporting the Bethel Event department in organizing global events (six annually) and providing assistance for local church events (over fifty annually) in Redding, CA. The primary function of this role is to oversee all facets of the department's media and communication responsibilities while serving as a liaison to the production team during Bethel's global events. This position demands a robust skill set in project management, problem-solving, and administration. The ideal candidate must exhibit proactivity, adaptability, confident leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Previous experience in leading and hosting events is preferred.
Salary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Oversee all communication initiatives within the Bethel Event department.
- Manage all media operations for the Bethel Events Department.
- Supervise Arena and Brushfire.
- Collaborate with the Communications & Creative teams on all landing pages for the Big 6 Events (including the basic event page on bethel.com/events, a fully developed marketing page, and a conference news page).
- Oversee and maintain Town Square and Formsite event forms.
- Act as a liaison to the following departments within Bethel Church: Communications, Creative, Production, and BSSM (as needed).
- Attend meetings, take notes, document action points, and assist in managing these responsibilities under the direction of the Event Director until completion.
- Support Bethel Church event administrators and conduct training sessions as necessary.
- Contribute to the team’s efforts by completing assigned tasks and additional duties as directed by the Event Director.
Requirements
- Believes and adheres to the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church.
- Current, valid driver's license with a clean record, as well as, reliable transportation.
- 2+years of experience in administration and project management.
- Exhibits proficiency in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar, along with competence in Mac OS.
- Capable of learning and utilizing essential software systems on Mac OS.
- Displays excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing, as well as over the phone.
- Proven skills in clerical tasks, organization, and problem-solving.
- Able to establish and maintain priorities while managing multiple tasks.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform various physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods, and lifting and carrying boxes, chairs, equipment, and materials.
