Job Opportunity: Account Executive – Fixed Term (January–September 2025)
Covering Maternity Leave | London, UK (Hybrid Working) - 2 days per week office based
About the Role
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Informa Markets Food department on a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave from January to September 2025. You’ll be working on a global portfolio of events in the Food Ingredients and Nutraceuticals industry, including flagship trade shows like Food Ingredients Europe and Vitafoods Europe, as well as high-growth events across regions such as Asia, Africa, and South America.
This role is perfect for an experienced sales professional passionate about building client relationships, achieving targets, and contributing to the success of industry-leading events. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with our diverse, global team based in London, Amsterdam, and New York.
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to maximize revenue, cross-sell trade shows, and secure sponsorships.
- Develop strong client relationships to guide them through pre-show processes.
- Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, operations, and brand development.
- Maintain and update our CRM system (Salesforce) to track sales activity and leads.
- Actively identify new revenue streams and build partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Travel internationally to meet clients and attend trade shows.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, in exhibitions, sponsorships, or related industries.
- A results-driven mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are welcome.
