The Position
The Event & Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting both office management and event logistics, working closely with the Events Manager, Chief of Staff/SVP Strategic Initiatives, and Marketing Team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to smooth, efficient operations that enhance our high-profile events and day-to-day office functionality.
Event Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, such as conferences, webinars, and client events.
- Work with the Events Manager on sourcing venues, vendors, and materials.
- Coordinate event-related meetings, calls, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support attendee and speaker registration, communications, and updates.
- Liaise with marketing on event materials, branding, and design.
- Assist with event setup, display management, and teardown to create an attractive and inviting space.
- Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
Operations Support:
- Assist with general office operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for building management
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office communications
- Maintain the company intranet
- Ad-hoc projects at the direction of the Chief of Staff
- Assist with support of corporate access clients; coordinate meetings, calls, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, event management, hospitality, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- You’re self-driven and will be able to work in both a team environment and work independently towards solutions.
- You thrive in a start-up environment where there are always new projects and challenges.
- Interest in crypto is a plus!
