Why We Need you! 

As our Event Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global events team - delivering impactful and memorable events that drive engagement - working closely together to ensure events are executed flawlessly, on budget, and meets the organization's strategic objectives. In essence, your focus will be on the tactical aspects of event execution, ensuring all logistical elements are in place for a successful event, ensuring that our events run smoothly and effectively across different global markets. 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Logistics Management: Support the logistical elements of marketing events, registration management, transportation, accommodation, catering, and technology needs, tailored to suit different regions and cultures. 
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with local and international vendors for services such as production, catering, and venue decor, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards and event objectives. 
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to support the development and implementation of event promotion strategies, using various channels suited to each target market to maximize event attendance and engagement. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as backup to the event primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the event, ensuring clear and consistent communication across different time zones and languages, if necessary. 
  • Event Execution: Support on site logistics in various areas of event production which include but aren't limited to the following areas: event setup, execution, and breakdown, helping to ensure that the event runs according to plan. 
  • Troubleshooting: Help resolve any issues that arise during the event, ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule and attendee experience. 
  • Cost Control: Manage the procurement, finance, and onboarding process for all vendors/suppliers. Keeping track of expenditures, ensuring costs remain within budget. 
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from attendees, sponsors, and team members to assess the event's impact and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the event's success against predetermined objectives and metrics, such as attendee satisfaction, lead generation, providing detailed reports to stakeholders. 
  • Insight Sharing: Share learnings and insights gained from each event with the global marketing team, contributing to the continuous improvement of future event strategies. 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In related fields such as marketing event management, hospitality management. 
  • Passion for Events: A genuine interest in event planning and a desire to create memorable experiences for attendees. 
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail is essential for ensuring all aspects of an event are executed flawlessly. 
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing situations and demands, a common occurrence in event planning. 
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, keeping track of all the details that contribute to a successful event. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for coordinating with vendors, team members, and stakeholders. 
  • Problem-Solving Ability: The capacity to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise before and during events. 
  • Time Management: Skill in managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure events run smoothly. 
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, understanding the importance of collaboration in event planning and execution. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software like Cvent, SharePoint, and basic office software like Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Industry Connections: Building a network of contacts in the event planning and hospitality industry can provide insights, and advice.
