Newsweek seeks an Evening Politics Editor to join our U.S. editorial team.
The Evening Politics Editor is responsible for supervising reporters, assigning stories, editing copy, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of political news content produced by Newsweek at night. The editor will work 1 PM - 10 PM ET (with a 1 hour break), Monday - Friday.
The evening editor works closely with the senior editors, multimedia producers, and the digital reporting team to coordinate the coverage of breaking news, developing stories, and special projects in the context of the Presidential election and the political news of the moment.
The evening editor also contributes to the editorial vision and strategy of Newsweek and helps to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000
