We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated ETL developer proficient in Snowflake and Informatica to spearhead the design and execution of ETL processes. Key responsibilities entail constructing robust ETL pipelines tailored for Snowflake and integrating data from diverse sources. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional business acumen and communication skills, collaborating closely with both technical and business teams to grasp data requirements and facilitate data-driven decision-making. This role demands adeptness in translating business needs into efficient technical solutions, fostering seamless interaction between stakeholders, and contributing to the overall data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines through extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Gather requirements and business process knowledge to tailor data transformations to the needs of end users.
- Maintain and improve existing processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure scalability and maintainability of the data architecture.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users, and propose adequate solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) development.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud databases.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with data modeling using Snowflake, SQL/PLSQL, or Oracle.
- Proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud computing skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot is a plus.
- Preferred experience working with application APIs like Workday, Salesforce, Oracle Financials, etc.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment (Scrum).Preferred experience with Jenkins, Github, and CI tools for automation.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills.
