Following another successful year at Equal Education Partners, in 2024 we're growing our Education Recruitment teams and are keen to bring on board highly professional and experienced colleagues.

We're investing significantly in growing the team to deliver a more dedicated service to our clients and candidates that span all over South & West Wales.

We are looking to recruit several Established/Senior Recruitment Consultants to join our successful education recruitment team working with schools across South & West Wales as part of our Swansea team.

We are also recruiting for the following roles: Senior Recruitment Manager (Swansea); Area Manager (Cardiff); and Senior/Established Recruitment Consultants x3 (Cardiff).

About the Established/Senior Recruitment Consultant role

We're looking for a highly organised and driven individual to join Equal Education Partners as an Established/Senior Recruitment Consultant.

Each Senior Recruitment Consultant will take responsibility for a designated growth area, either geographically (one or more local authorities) or focusing on Primary, Secondary or ALN schools.

This is a 360 recruitment role which sits within our highly regarded Education Recruitment team and involves working to recruit teaching & learning support staff to temporary, long term & permanent roles.

About Equal's education recruitment team

Our Established/Senior Recruitment Consultants will work within a strong team led by our Swansea-based Associate Director for our Education Recruitment division, a Senior Recruitment Manager, and working alongside other senior consultants, a Junior Recruitment Consultant and our Candidate Recruitment Manager.

Finance & HR team support

The Education Recruitment team is supported by our established back office Finance & HR team, taking care of payroll, timesheets, invoicing and all administrative matters. Our Finance & HR (back-office) team includes our Finance Manager, Business & People Manager, Assistant Finance Manager, and Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting excellent teaching and learning support professionals for schools, using a combination of both traditional and digital methods
  • Taking responsibility for a designated growth area either geographically (one or more local authorities) or focusing on Primary, Secondary or ALN schools
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing client schools
  • Developing new business relationships with additional schools
  • Building and maintain relationships with education professionals, supporting them into excellent, career-impacting roles, ensuring their satisfaction and performance
  • Working with candidate resourcing specialists and compliance & vetting colleagues to build, progress and maintain a high quality pipeline of candidates
  • Headhunting candidates for long term roles
  • Pro-actively driving candidate recruitment initiatives
  • Screening resumes and conducting initial phone screens
  • Using recruiting software to keep track of candidates & open roles
  • Promoting a positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process
  • Being an ambassador and advocate for Equal Education Partners who can get behind and move forward our ambition to raise standards in education through talent attraction, retention and inclusion

Requirements

  • £35,000-£40,000 per annum plus commission (OTE £35-47k+)
