The ERP Testing Manager - Oracle Fusion will be responsible for defining and leading the testing efforts for our Oracle ERP Fusion implementations and quarterly releases. This role involves managing a team of testers, developing comprehensive testing strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of test plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion applications, a strong background in software testing, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Extreme Oracle Testing efforts on our Oracle Cloud migration project
• Lead and manage the testing team for Oracle Fusion implementations, enhancements, and quarterly cloud releases.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, business leaders and business analysts to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Ensure all testing activities are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes and deliverables.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers and team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
• Experience with Oracle Fusion applications, including but not limited to ERP, HCM, and SCM.
• Experience with Opkey
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
