ERP Technical Consultant – Internal IT

As a Technical ERP Consultant, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing Unit4’s internal ERP systems, with a specific focus on using the Unit4 Extension kit Tool to optimize integrations and data processes. You will support our team by developing new features, improving existing solutions, and enabling our organization to fully leverage the capabilities of our ERP. A key part of your role will involve utilizing Liquid for templating, managing REST APIs for integration, and ensuring smooth data flow across systems. You will help service-centric organizations maximize the value of their data in today’s digital landscape.

 

  • Analyze and review Unit4's needs for reporting, integrations, and data flow, using the Extension kit Tool, REST APIs, and Liquid to develop and map solutions to the ERP system.
  • Design and implement new features to improve data integration, reporting processes, and overall system efficiency.
  • Provide expert training and ongoing support to internal users on how to best utilize the Unit4 Extension kit Tool and related ERP capabilities.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and guidelines for modifying the ERP and integration tools, ensuring continuous improvements can be made.
  • Liaise with product managers, providing business insights and suggestions to help them innovate and enhance our product offerings.
  • Stay up to date with new Unit4 functionality and statutory requirements to ensure the ERP system remains fully compliant and optimized.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, ideally in a consulting or system management role.
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, integrations (JSON/XML, SOAP), and low-code/no-code platforms, particularly the Unit4 Extension kit Tool.
  • Proficiency in Liquid for templating and data processing, and familiarity with SQL or C# is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train users and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Solid understanding of general and financial business processes, with a passion for finding technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Self-driven, independent worker who is also a strong team player with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
