DESCRIPTION: The ERP Solutions Lead is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, the ERP Solutions Lead will oversee the end-to-end implementation process, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with business needs and optimal utilization of the ERP system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As an ERP Solutions Lead, responsibilities encompass orchestrating project management activities such as planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, while effectively communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates. Additionally, they oversee solution design, change management, risk mitigation, quality assurance, deployment support, and post-implementation activities, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge transfer to optimize the ERP solution's alignment with evolving business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:  

  • Overall Project Management:
    • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across multiple teams and departments.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users.
    • Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and reporting to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and risks.
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for the ERP solution.
    • Analyze requirements to identify gaps, dependencies, and potential challenges.
  • Solution Design and Configuration:
    • Work with technical teams and consultants to design the ERP solution based on business requirements.
    • Configure the ERP system to meet business needs, including customization and integration with existing systems.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Define test plans and scenarios to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of the ERP solution.
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate resolution of any issues or defects identified during testing.
  • Deployment and Go-Live Support:
    • Plan and coordinate the deployment of the ERP solution, including data migration and system cut-over activities.
    • Provide on-site support during the go-live phase to address any immediate issues or concerns.
  • Post-Implementation Support:
    • Transition the project to operational support teams and ensure a smooth handover.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
    • Document project deliverables, processes, and best practices for future reference.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower internal teams to manage and maintain the ERP solution effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of the ERP solution to align with evolving business needs.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ERP implementation and management.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Education:
    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field. Some positions may require a master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-7 years of experience in ERP implementation, configuration, and project management.
    • Demonstrated experience leading ERP projects from initiation to completion, including solution design, customization, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • ERP System Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in one or more ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
    • In-depth understanding of ERP modules and functionality relevant to the organization's industry and business processes.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, including engaging with executives, department heads, and end-users throughout the project lifecycle.

 Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
    • Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process improvement.
  • Change Management and Training:
    • Knowledge of change management principles and practices to facilitate user adoption of new ERP solutions.
    • Experience in developing training materials and conducting user training sessions.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
    • Experience in coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring the quality and reliability of ERP solutions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in leading and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ERP solutions.

 A range of compensation is provided for transparency, however different factors may affect this range. Some of these factors may include (but are not limited to) education, training, credentials, skills, geographic location, and experience. This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
Range of Compensation: $100,000-$150,000/year
