ERP Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive successful ERP implementations with a strong focus on finance-related modules and the integration of financial and business processes. This role is critical to ensuring the ERP system effectively supports our organization’s financial needs, enhances cross-functional data flow, and enables accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:  

  • Collect and analyze requirements from various stakeholders (HR, Sales, Finance, Project Managers, and Senior Management) and design ERP solutions to meet both business needs and technical requirements. 
  • Define and maintain up-to-date business requirements for ERP projects, ensuring clarity and alignment with customer and stakeholder goals. 
  • Act as the ERP system owner by managing requirements documentation, approving change requests, identifying system gaps, and proposing effective solutions. 
  • Coordinate ERP system configuration to ensure functionality aligns with documented requirements while collaborating with integrators and stakeholders for smooth project delivery. 
  • Document business processes, user stories, and project requirements using Confluence and Jira, ensuring clear communication across project teams. 
  • Validate and accept ERP functionality delivered by vendors or developers, assessing for quality and consistency with project scope. 
  • Provide training and guidance to users on ERP features, facilitating adoption and understanding across the organization. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in ERP implementation, particularly within finance-related modules and integrated financial and business processes.
  • Strong grasp of financial concepts (e.g., debit-credit, receivables, payables) and experience with ERP financial modules.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with system integrators and handling change requests, scope adjustments, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience in project coordination, with skills in aligning stakeholder interests, negotiating solutions, and ensuring timely project progression.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with experience in Confluence and Jira preferred.
  • Experience in collaborating with external vendors and integrating HRM and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools, particularly as applied to ERP system functions.
  • Background in finance or accounting to support ERP-related financial functions.
  • Experience in working with IT outsourcing services or distributed company operations.
