The role  
Reporting directly to the Japan Automotive delivery head. You will be working at client location as Onsite Lead. Communicating with customer and Project scheduling with all stake holder’s agreement, monitoring work progress and updating it to customer, coordinating with offshore to get desired quality without schedule delay.  
  
 
Responsibilities  
  • Automotive Software engineer who has experience of managing Automotive Component development projects (specially on Power Train components like Transmission control, Engine (ICE)etc.)  
  • integration Matlab/Simulink block to ECU and HIL testing 
  • Calibration for Performance & Emission 
  • Dataset Management 
  • Post processing of calibration (DPF, GPF, SCR) 
  • Understanding in Automotive OEM Processes & Project Management. 
  • Breaking down high-level requirements into lower level-subsystem requirements and designs Able to create project schedules for Component development and manage progress 
  • Management tasks related to design and development 
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives 
  • Coordinating with offshore team for project schedules, resources, equipment, and information 
  • Ensure flawless communication in meeting customer requirements and completing the task within the deadline 
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports 
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality reviews 
  
 
Profile  
Mandatory   
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automotive 
  • Strong experience using PPT, XLS, MPP, JIRA, alternately ASANA etc. 
  • Excellent communication in Japanese and presentation skills 
  • Good customer interaction skills, presentation and communication skills 
  • Expertise in Project Management, handling customer and offshore team 
  
Preferred    
  • English communication (business level) 
  • BE/B.Tech – Automobile/Mechanical/electrical and electronics
