The ideal candidate shall provide technical expertise in support of, but not limited to: Item Managers, configuration management, data review, hardware repair and integration, and field level support. Spectrum's Equipment Specialist shall perform technical duties utilizing a broad knowledge of electronic equipment principles, and techniques and possess a thorough knowledge of digital and analog circuitry. Technical experience should include, but not limited to:
Travel to provide support for COMSEC Products systems as required. This candidate shall develop and document successful test procedures. The Equipment Specialist shall serve as the subject matter expert and technical adviser during Program Management Reviews, Technical Exchange Meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, vendor product demonstrations and at guidance and provisioning conferences. Perform interrogation and cataloging actions and review and verify stock level requirements utilizing Air Force supply databases. Use the Joint Deficiency Reporting System to perform equipment deficiency coordination and reporting. Provide guidance on Defense Demilitarization policies and procedures and assign item identification codes in support of Life Cycle Management. Support personnel are required to input data to Government produced reports and data systems, attend meetings, and assist with briefings as required.

Work Enviroment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Employee will routinely work on energized equipment using various electronic diagnostic equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be used at all times. Safety shoes will be used routinely. Hearing and sight PPE will be available on site.
POSITION TYPE AND TYPICAL WORK HOURS: Eight hour day between Monday through Friday; 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m (flexable). If a lunch break is taken, hours will be modified accordingly.
JOB RELATED TRAVEL: Some travel is required; Employee will be given ample opportunity to prepare for any travel.
