For the Galapagos organisation in Leiden/NL, we are looking for a highly motivated Equipment Specialist
Contractor
for 12 months.


Core purpose of the role:


The Equipment Specialist will be responsible for initiating and maintaining the overall lifecycle of equipment located at The Finch, the Galapagos Central Site in Leiden.



Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out the deployment of new instruments to The Finch site
    • Oversee and coordinate the qualification and maintenance of instruments
    • Contribute to the qualification and maintenance of instruments by self perform
    • Contribute to data integrity and proper equipment user management
    • Review and assess technical documentation such as vendor IOQs and PQs
    • Write equipment lifecycle related documentation such as URS, IQs, OQs and PQs
    • Support root-cause investigations for deviations, determine corrective actions and support implementation of change controls
