Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination:
    • Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and company celebrations.
    • Support initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Recruiting Support:
    • Assist with sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing job postings.
    • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations and Disciplinary Action:
    • Support the HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, documenting performance issues, and administering disciplinary processes in a professional and fair manner.
    • Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Workplace Environment and Culture Development:
    • Promote a culture of betterment by supporting programs that encourage professional growth, continuous learning, and team collaboration.
    • Assist with implementing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Must be able to reliably commute for this on-site position, as it is exclusively in-person with no remote or hybrid options.
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, OR at least 1 year of experience in HR or a related field, OR an HR-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A passion for creating positive employee experiences and fostering personal and professional development.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with basic HR functions, such as recruiting, employee relations, or event planning, is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems or tools.
    • Comfort with learning new technologies and processes to support team success.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, as permitted by law.

About Our JobsGet started on a new career path and join a growing team. All positions at Printivity are Entry-Level– no previous print or print shop experience is required. We will train you on everything you need to know!Our Front Office positions work closely to assist our customers with their online orders. Customer Service Representatives are the true voices of Printivity-they are the ones who assist our customers through email and phone with their printing needs and orders. Prepress Specialists use their experience with Acrobat and design software to check, review, and edit customer’s digital files to prepare them for print. Prepressers must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and open to feedback – both giving and receiving. Our Back Office positions are the production line, where digital content becomes something real: a true, printed product you can hold in your hand! Digital Print Operators are responsible for turning digital files into printed pages – they run our top-of-the-line commercial presses and manage the queue to make sure all our customer’s orders are printed on time and at the highest quality. Bindery Operators run all the equipment and machinery it takes to turn those printed papers into the product ordered, whether it’s saddle-stitch machines, industrial cutters, lamination, coil-binding…the list could go on! Bindery also includes packing and shipping, ensuring our product makes it safely and swiftly to the customers.
