The Team Our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is divided into three areas:
· Access Management and Identity Governance (AM and IGA)
· Privileged Access Management (PAM)
· Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
Each area has a Digital Product Leader and a number of resources supporting development and delivery. The Entra Product Specialist is part of the AM and IGA team and plays a key role in leveraging Microsoft Entra technologies to deliver to the IAM roadmap. This role requires deep understanding of Microsoft Entra and an ability to implement it securely and effectively in an enterprise context.
About You
Our team operates within the Microsoft Entra/Cloud ecosystem, utilizing key applications like Entra ID together with SailPoint IIQ, Auth0, and CyberArk as part of the complete IAM platform. You are as comfortable with technology as you are with collaborating with your colleagues to achieve long-term success. You recognize that while many use cases look similar, they are not always exactly the same – and you know how to find patterns that work. You let values guide your approach to challenges and interactions with your colleagues.
Security is second nature to you, and you understand how to make it easier for the business to achieve its goals. You appreciate the importance of metrics like KPIs and OKRs, and you’re willing to innovate when the current measures fall short. To succeed as an Entra Product Specialist, the following knowledge, skills, and certifications are essential:
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra environments at global enterprise scale as part of a full M365 ecosystem, including topics such as identity governance, authentication, role assignments and security policies.
· Insight into aligning processes with other business stakeholders to drive results (e.g., HR processes for co-worker data management and JML automation).
· Ability to take ownership, collaborate with other specialists and make independent decisions.
· Capacity to simplify complex challenges and translate between "tech-speak" and everyday language.
Additionally, the following knowledge, skills, and experience would be valuable:
· Microsoft certifications from the SCI series (Security, Compliance and Identity). AZ-104 and MS-500 may also be useful.
· Familiarity with SecOps and the ability to collaborate on IAM topics, especially with a focus on securing cloud identities and risky user access management.
· Understanding of protocols like OIDC, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and transitive federation, particularly in hybrid ground/cloud environments.
· Strong empathy for the end-user experience, for example concerning access requests, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, and account management.
· Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, especially in the context of managing identity-related incidents and development backlogs.
In addition to working closely with the Digital Product Leader to develop the deployment, the Entra Product Specialist is an L3 escalation point for troubleshooting complex challenges. Naturally, the Entra Product Specialist will work closely with stakeholders across the business as needed (e.g., HR Operations, Service Management leaders, SecOps, and other departments). As IKEA is a global brand with many companies working together, a robust understanding of Entra in a B2B context (guest users, access packages, etc.) is essential.
The Entra Product Specialist will:
· Be a part of the Entra product team, focusing on both development and operations, while contributing in a proactive approach through distributed teams. This includes all Entra capabilities such as Entra Permissions Management, Entra Identity Production and Entra External ID.
· Act as an authoritative knowledge source for Entra use cases, collaborating with stakeholders both from within Inter IKEA Group as well as external partners as needed.
· Contribute to securing that Entra platform components, including access management and identity lifecycle management, are monitored and maintained according to agreed playbooks and SOPs.
· Act as an ambassador for the Entra platform, advocating its use and benefits across the Inter IKEA Group, and assisting in the adoption of Microsoft Entra services like Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and more.
· Enable business operations through the Entra platform within Inter IKEA, franchisees, and external partners/providers by implementing solutions to specific business requirements.
· Support the Digital Product Leader with input to development roadmaps, taking ownership of specific development items or processes as required.
This role is full-time and based in Delft. Please note we are unable to support with relocation for this role on this occasion.
