Position Summary

 

The Enterprise Security Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading the technical scoping and implementation of NIST regulation compliance for Managed and Non-Managed Service Clients. 

 

What will you do in this role?

 

  • Develop comprehensive solution architectures that meet business requirements and align with the client’s technology strategy. 
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed. 
  • Actively participate in continuing education of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve solution offerings. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and IT teams, to define and deliver effective solutions. 
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to support the design and delivery of solutions related to NIST compliance requirements. 
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the architecture and design of solutions. 
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, such as CMMC and NIST frameworks. 
  • In collaboration with the NOC and project team to create and maintain architectural documents, diagrams, and other artifacts that clearly articulate the solution's design and components. 
  • Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability to meet the demands of the business. 
  • Develop and maintain client specific System Security Plans (SSP) to meet the requirements of  or above to ensure client success of obtaining CMMC level 2 compliance. 
  • As part of the quarterly business reviews (QBRs), conducting routine security assessments and customize methodologies to ensure the protection of CUI. 
  • Align cybersecurity levels with NIST standards and facilitate risk-based decisions related to CUI requirements. 
  • Implement security controls and manage documentation for all systems handling CUI, including email, FTP, content management platforms, cloud platforms, project collaboration tools, and more. 
  • Participate in pre-sales activities such as qualification meetings and scoping conversations. 
  • Create sales proposals and sales presentations to assist with CMMC projects and manage services opportunities.  
  • Stay updated with the latest revisions of NIST publications and CMMC regulations. 

 

 

 

What do you need to succeed in this role?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in; Business Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
  • Professional certification in cybersecurity preferred (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience implementing technical requirements for the NIST Framework within an Enterprise business organization.  
  • Proven experience in implementing NIST 800-171a Rev2or above and supporting CMMC regulation. 
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
