Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
However, food delivery was just the start. We don’t want to just satisfy our customers’ hunger, but to deliver a wide variety of products and expand our platform to some cool retail shops, supermarkets, flowers, toys and other exciting products, all referred to as Retail.
To achieve this, we must first assemble the team of motivated sales superheroes who’ll secure the relationships with the retailers and restaurants that our customers in Finland want to order from. That means your role as the Enterprise Sales Manager has the knack for being a hunter and simultaneously thriving in complex negotiations with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll be managing your own pipeline of selected partners to approach and sign up to Wolt. This requires understanding of the restaurants and retailer's value chain and how to effectively build complex value propositions through last-mile logistics services. In order to thrive in this role, you have to have an understanding of enterprise level decision making and fluent C-level negotiation skills to manage potentially longer sales negotiation cycles.
As time progresses the Wolt services improve and develop further, the targets and duties of the role may develop. Also as the market matures, this brings forth totally new opportunities for sales and its approach. This means that you must thrive in the ‘start-up’ environment where constant change means there’s always lots to get your teeth into!
In this role you will report to the Enterprise Sales Lead and take end-to-end ownership of the sales processes. You will acquire new enterprise merchants to the platform, ensure depth of partnership through additional products and services such as Wolt+, Wolt Ads and Wolt Drive, and ensure a seamless transition from prospect to partner. As such, the role is critical to Wolt’s overall business and success.
