Enterprise Sales Manager

Percona is adding an Enterprise Sales Manager (ESM) to our outstanding team. This is a field sales role, and the ideal candidate should have a successful track record in technology sales within large enterprise accounts. The Enterprise Sales Manager’s primary goal is to find new opportunities, negotiate, and close deals within high annual revenue accounts.

We believe in value, having a process, owning a sales methodology and creating a great positive work environment that achieves very high results. You have the freedom to work remotely from your home office.  Aside from quota achievement, the successful candidate will become a part of a close and collaborative global team which includes Inside Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering.

The territory is a large Central geography in the US/Canada. Candidates should reside within North America.

  • Solution sales oriented and aligned to your customer's business initiatives
  • You take initiative and have a natural sense of urgency
  • You can be persuasive and speak with conviction
  • Successful relationships with C-level executives
  • Enjoy collaboration and problem-solving
  • Happy to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with clients. Ideally located close to a major airport
  • Impeccable English skills, both verbal and written

What You Have Done

  • Understand database technologies and how companies leverage data to run their business
  • Experience of selling to Global 2000 companies
  • Proven track record in achievement of quotas
  • You have built and maintained executive-level relationships with your customers
  • Naturally ambitious and loves closing new business
  • Comfortable with travel and customer-facing opportunities
  • Leadership and mentoring with peers and team
  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales
