The Enterprise HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the smooth execution of people processes and the day to day People Experience in the assigned geographies and across lines of business. The Enterprise Specialist Implements and administers human resources programs, policies and practices. Maintains detailed knowledge of HR service areas and answers employee inquiries pertaining to HR programs, processes, procedures and communications. Responds to employee service needs such as document requests, employment form completion, onboarding assistance, HRIS data maintenance, benefits administration, payroll processing or other HR functions as assigned. Serves as an escalation point for support as needed. Maintains records related to human resources activities, policy changes or additions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all lifecycle events for assigned population workforce are flawlessly executed and seamlessly delivered, providing consistency in the experience across teams (e.g. commercial ,ops. vs tech)
  • Supports processes for given population:
  • Respond to general requests/inquiries from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR Partner.
  • Support other Enterprise Specialists in the onboarding process for new associates (collect and process new hire paperwork, conduct orientation sessions)
  • Support other Enterprise Specialists in the off-boarding process for separating associates (prep managers, track turnover data/metrics, write reference letters)
  • Process and maintain organization and associate updates in HRIS systems, to ensure reporting structures/job titles/cost centers are correct and current
  • Work with international colleagues offshore teams to follow up on processing requests in a timely manner with an eye toward quality
  • Prepare and process a variety of employee life cycle related paperwork, i.e. promotions, verifications, etc.
  • Generate a variety of reports as requested by HR, Auditors, and other business leaders
  • Support the monthly payroll process by raising change requests, i.e. address, bank details or compensation changes
  • Liaise with the payroll provider to clarify employee questions or issues
  • Prepare Works Council hearings and answer related questions
  • Support the requisition request process
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure integrity and quality of personnel data
  • Maintain accurate time tracking records, set up new user accounts and answer related questions
  • Work with Enterprise HRBP’s to support managers on HR issues including policies, procedures, practices
  • Appropriate handling and processing of confidential and time-sensitive material
  • Ensure Compliance with all local labor laws and regulations
  • Participate in other special projects where needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2years of Human Resources experience welcome
  • Proficiency in Google for Work/ Microsoft Office including Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

  • Employee Central/SAP knowledge strongly preferred

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $42,000 - $60,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.  The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
